Mwesigwa Daniel Oscar is a Finance specialist primarily in Public Financial Management, Fiduciary Risk Assessments, Due Diligences, Business Valuations, Pre-Grant Assessments, Audit and Assurance, Strategic Planning, Internal Audit and Compliance reviews, Budgeting, Organizational reviews/Institutional Health checks, Business Process Improvement, Procurement Audits, Strategic Risk Management, Business Training and Enterprise Risk Management (ERM).
Oscar has offered these services to various development partners, government and governmental departments, parastatals, procurement and disposal entities, Non-Governmental Organizations, and Civil Society Organizations in over 10 Sub-Saharan countries including but not limited to; Uganda, Malawi, Tanzania, Zimbabwe, Nigeria, South Africa, Rwanda, Burundi, Ethiopia, South Sudan, Kenya and Mozambique.
He has worked with development partners in sectors including health, education, human rights, agriculture, and technology. He also served the private sector including the telecommunications, FMCG and Financial Services.
He has worked at various levels within PwC audit and assurance arm as well as the KPMG East Africa Advisory arm. He holds a first class degree in Bachelor of Commerce, Accounting from Makerere University, an MBA from Edinburgh Business School and is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered and Certified Accountants. He is also a full practicing member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Uganda.
