ANCHOR intentionally maintains a lean and agile core staff to ensure the dedicated management of its program, finance, talent, and monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning functions.The capacity of the core team is buttressed by project staff as well as outsourced associates, volunteers, and consultants to maximize value for our stakeholders.
Patrick Munduga – Executive Director
Patrick Munduga, is a seasoned hands-on NGO leader and manager with expertise in NGO and business startup or growth management; strategic planning; monitoring, evaluation, and learning; PDIA programing; organizational policy development; action research and advocacy; change management; board development; and grants management.
Prior to co-founding ANCHOR, Patrick served in the capacity of East and Central Africa Regional Director for Invisible Children in which he oversaw over 200 staff, and undertook large multi-year grants to deliver critical life-saving interventions to underprivileged communities in Uganda, DR Congo, South Sudan, and Central African Republic. He has also worked with much leaner and agile teams to deliver programs in highly adaptive conflict environments.
Moreover, he has worked with several public and private organizations in east, central, and west Africa including the fields of 3G Defection Cycle Management; Behavior Change Communication; Shelter and Communications (FM, HF, SW) Infrastructure in Armed Conflicts; Conflict Research; Education; Refugee Response; Early Warning Security Systems; Holistic Reintegration of Ex-Combatants, and Peace Building’
Patrick holds an MBA in Management (ESAMI), BSc in Civil Engineering (MUK), and PGCert. Water (LUT). His life mission is to pursue peace, stability, and prosperity for excluded African communities. To this end, he also volunteers with other development charities. Increasingly he has been involved in intra-African dialogue and consultation on armed conflict, migration, climate change, and violent extremism.
