Akiteng Isabella is an experienced youth worker in the civil society sphere who has been in the sector for the last nine years. She is passionate about programs that deliver on tangible development for young people in any society. She creatively seeks out opportunities and supports teams to coherently rethink strategies for result oriented programming.
She is a mentor and feminist who inspires transformative leadership growth as well as influencing of youth responsive policy. Isabella takes pride in influencing success at the various tables on which she seats.
Currently, she is in charge of Policy Advocacy at the Uganda Youth Network. She led the growth of modern debate in Uganda by establishing the National Debate Council, as well as the Green Light Movement and currently advices the Open Space Centre, Femme Fort Uganda, Kigezi Youth Development Initiative. Youth Aid Africa and the UYONET Leadership Academy Alumni Network.

Miller Enguerran Moukpidie is a community development practitioner whose passion is to deliver critical life-saving support to hard-to-reach communities.
Miller specializes in program and data management in conflict situations; monitoring and evaluation; trainer of trainers in conflict management and trauma healing. He has served in the Democratic Republic of Congo and the Central African Republic.
He holds a Diploma of Community Development certificate from the University of Bangui in Central African Republic.
He has worked with several national and international organizations including but not limited to; ACTED, and Vision Development. He is currently the Regional Manager of Community based programs for Invisible Children in Central Africa.
Sylvia is a competent lawyer and weathered advocate with over ten years of specific practice in banking and finance; corporation and commerce; crime; land and conveyance; and human rights law.
She has served in diverse work settings including both private and non-profit organizations. Before becoming a Partner at Asiimwe, Namawejje & Co. Advocates, a position she has held since 2009, Sylvia served as a Legal Officer of the Norwegian Refugee Council.
She holds membership of several professional bodies including the East African Law Society; Uganda Law Society; and Uganda Christian Lawyers Fraternity.
Sylvia is an LLB (Hons) graduate, and Diploma in Legal Practice certificate holder from Makerere University and Law Development Centre respectively.
Michael is a trained Media and Communications person, Social Worker and Political Scientist with an MA in Journalism and Communication, Post Graduate Certifications in in Project Planning and Management, Project Monitoring and Evaluation, a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Sciences, a Diploma in Journalism and Mass Communication among other qualifications.
Presently he is the CEO of Exceed Communications, Uganda’s leading media and communications consultancy firm. He is also a media trainer at UMCAT School of Journalism and Mass Communication and has previously served as a guest lecturer at Makerere University’s department Journalism and Communication.
Michael was until December 2014 the Regional PR and Advocacy Manager for Invisible Children responsible for initiating and implementing communication and advocacy programs for the organisation in east and central Africa.
Before joining Invisible Children in January 2013, Michael had for 6 ½ years worked as a Journalist for The Observer newspaper where he specialized as a Features and Special Projects Writer with fondness for advocacy, development, governance and human rights issues. His articles have also appeared in Daily Monitor, New Vision and Evening Mail Newspapers and ET and Disciple Voice magazines. In his work, he founded and edited several publications including Disciple Voice magazine.
Besides sitting on the ANCHOR Board, he wears another hut as a board member for VIJANA Corps, a youth-led non-profit organization empowering the young generation to be good representatives of society. It engenders a positive youth culture to empower and make room for inclusion and vibrant civic participation in order to attain social justice and equitable development of young people in Uganda.
Between June 2010 and February 2013, Michael was also a council member (Equivalent of Board Member) of Church of the Resurrection, Bugolobi Church of Uganda in Kampala Diocese among other leadership positions held.
Michael loves social justice causes and campaigns and is passionate about using the media to advance causes of the voiceless and secluded groups in society and help organizations and personalities design strategies to increase visibility of their work.
Mwesigwa Daniel Oscar is a Finance specialist primarily in Public Financial Management, Fiduciary Risk Assessments, Due Diligences, Business Valuations, Pre-Grant Assessments, Audit and Assurance, Strategic Planning, Internal Audit and Compliance reviews, Budgeting, Organizational reviews/Institutional Health checks, Business Process Improvement, Procurement Audits, Strategic Risk Management, Business Training and Enterprise Risk Management (ERM).
Oscar has offered these services to various development partners, government and governmental departments, parastatals, procurement and disposal entities, Non-Governmental Organizations, and Civil Society Organizations in over 10 Sub-Saharan countries including but not limited to; Uganda, Malawi, Tanzania, Zimbabwe, Nigeria, South Africa, Rwanda, Burundi, Ethiopia, South Sudan, Kenya and Mozambique.
He has worked with development partners in sectors including health, education, human rights, agriculture, and technology. He also served the private sector including the telecommunications, FMCG and Financial Services.
He has worked at various levels within PwC audit and assurance arm as well as the KPMG East Africa Advisory arm. He holds a first class degree in Bachelor of Commerce, Accounting from Makerere University, an MBA from Edinburgh Business School and is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered and Certified Accountants. He is also a full practicing member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Uganda.
Patrick Munduga, is a seasoned hands-on NGO leader and manager with expertise in NGO and business startup or growth management; strategic planning; monitoring, evaluation, and learning; PDIA programing; organizational policy development; action research and advocacy; change management; board development; and grants management.
Prior to co-founding ANCHOR, Patrick served in the capacity of East and Central Africa Regional Director for Invisible Children in which he oversaw over 200 staff, and undertook large multi-year grants to deliver critical life-saving interventions to underprivileged communities in Uganda, DR Congo, South Sudan, and Central African Republic. He has also worked with much leaner and agile teams to deliver programs in highly adaptive conflict environments.
Moreover, he has worked with several public and private organizations in east, central, and west Africa including the fields of 3G Defection Cycle Management; Behavior Change Communication; Shelter and Communications (FM, HF, SW) Infrastructure in Armed Conflicts; Conflict Research; Education; Refugee Response; Early Warning Security Systems; Holistic Reintegration of Ex-Combatants, and Peace Building’
Patrick holds an MBA in Management (ESAMI), BSc in Civil Engineering (MUK), and PGCert. Water (LUT). His life mission is to pursue peace, stability, and prosperity for excluded African communities. To this end, he also volunteers with other development charities. Increasingly he has been involved in intra-African dialogue and consultation on armed conflict, migration, climate change, and violent extremism.
Frederick Mugerwa is an agricultural economist with twenty-six years’ experience in program/project development, planning, management, agribusiness, microfinance, monitoring and evaluation. He is trained in statistics, agricultural economics, information systems and business administration. He has worked with public and private institutions. He has designed and coordinated evaluations, coordinated capacity building in evaluation, conducted training in: microfinance; monitoring; evaluation; finance and management. He has developed projects and conducted monitoring and evaluation assignments on various projects.
He has extensive experience of working with rural communities. He possesses hands on knowledge and experience in facilitating development. Currently he is providing consultancy services in Research, Capacity Building, Proposal Development, Monitoring, Evaluation, Information Systems, Agribusiness and Microfinance. He is also in farming.
